Responding to public health emergencies by providing relief to COVID-19 affected individuals and families specially belonging to vulnerable, neglected and missed out communities.
The Covid -19 induced lockdown in India has adversely affected lakhs of daily wage workers, construction workers, rickshaw pullers, transgender community, domestic workers, beggars, homeless and other missed out communities, who have no means of income to feed their families and fulfill other basic needs. They were not even able to afford medicines or consultation from doctors when they experienced symptoms of Covid-19. Thus, to tackle these issues, we took the following initiatives which provided relief and rehabilitation to some extent:
