Apurva Chiranewala

Mr. Apurva Chiranewala is a Kolkata born entrepreneur and philanthropist who has been actively involved with social action groups. He has also founded a social enterprise, Ads In Motion, for empowering migrant laborers and piloted one of India’s first electric-powered cycle rickshaw projects in Gurgaon, Haryana. Mr. Chiranewala believes in creating self-sustaining social enterprises and in working with groups that solve the root cause of a problem instead of just suppressing the symptoms.He is a firm believer of the adage “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.
