Badlav aims to uplift the most underprivileged sections of the society, by helping them to find means of gainful employment and a better life. Our principal objective is to help beggars quit begging and assist them in starting a new life of dignity, by providing them opportunities to find work and start small businesses like tea and chaat stalls, pulling rickshaws etc.

Badlav was set up in 2015 by Sharad Patel along with Mahendra Pratap, Chunni Lal and a few other friends, with a vision of bringing the most deprived sections of people into the mainstream society by helping them to find a means of earning a living with dignity.

Yes, Badlav is registered under the Society Act of 1860.

Yes, you can join the cause as a worker/intern/contributor.

Irrespective of your background, you are welcome to work with us as volunteers. In some cases, you can even do volunteer work from home.

No, there is no fee required. You can contribute in whichever way you are capable.

To apply for an internship with Badlav, click on this link………. The minimum duration of the internship is 1 month. The working days are Monday-Saturday (10am to 5pm).

Yes, we do give out certificates to our volunteers on request.

In order to get formally associated with us, kindly send in your details at info@badlavindia.org. We will get in touch with you whenever any opportunity arises. The best way to get to know us and our work culture is to volunteer with us. We really encourage volunteers.

In order to intern with us, please send us your details, mentioning your area of interest, location, availability etc. We would also require an official letter from your institute, permitting you to undertake the internship. We would expect prompt, correct and detailed information from your side, to speed up the process.

We will be glad to assist you in looking for accommodation, but due to limited resources, we currently do not provide accommodation, food and stipend.

Firstly, you will need to fill the Volunteer/Internship application form. You also need to make sure that you have all the required Visa and permits from the Govt. of India. We will also require a formal letter from your respective institute.

Our entire operation is a huge logistics exercise which involves transportation, shelter, rehabilitation, food, relief materials and salaries of our team. All these activities incur huge expenses.

Since we pool all our monetary contributions together towards our goals, it is difficult to earmark individual contributions separately. However, you can get detailed information about our activities and campaigns by subscribing to our monthly newsletter.
