Sharad Patel is a social development professional with over 12 years of experience in designing and leading initiatives for inclusive and sustainable social change. As Founder and Executive Director, he provides strategic leadership and oversees the organization’s vision, programs, and partnerships.

A committed grassroot social entrepreneur, Sharad works closely with marginalized, vulnerable, and historically underserved communities, with a focus on enabling their meaningful integration into mainstream social, economic, and institutional systems. His work reflects a strong commitment to equity, grassroots engagement, and rights-based development.

Sharad holds a Master of Social Work (2015) from Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Work.

He has been associated with several prestigious fellowships and leadership programs, including Changelooms (2014–15), Changelooms UnManifesto for Inclusion and Governance (2015), Sadbhawna Fellowship (2019), Sanjha Fellowships (2022-23) and multiple cohorts (July 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2022) of the UnLtd India Incubation Programme.

In recognition of his contributions to social development and community empowerment, Sharad has received several national-level honors, including the JAZBA Award (2018, 2019), Lokmat Samman (2018), IGNOU Mitra Samman (2019), Karmaveer Chakra Award (2019), and Samaj Ratna Samman (2020).
